Daleys fruit tree nursery can mail order plants to Numulgi, Nurseries freight costs are $24.54 for the first box of plants.(approx:5-10 plants) Numulgi Plants - Most PopularInclude: Surrounding Suburbs (recommended) Plants not in stock Popularity: 1 Plum - Satsuma
Red to purple flesh with a freestone. The flavour is good, the growth vigorous and its bears particularly well, in fact to get large fruits it may require thinning. The firm juicy flesh has a sweet spicy flavour. Self pollinating. 350 - 400 hours chill. Bears November to early December.
Popularity: 1 Lemon - Meyer
The popular Meyer is not a true lemon but likely to be a natural hybrid between a lemon and an orange. The lower acidity and reduced bitterness makes it one of the most widely grown home-garden varieties. Very hardy and prolific.
Popularity: 1 Blueberry - Misty
The Misty is a true enigma, in that where it grows vigorously, such as on the red kraznozem soils of Northern NSW, it is very profitable and popular, yet on other soils it has often not grown well and is not a variety of popular choice. To produce high quality, early fruit, Misty is best grown under the evergreen system with attention being paid to nutrition and leaf diseases in order to keep the older leaves. It is an early fruiting variety, with light blue, medium to large fruit of excellent flavour.
Popularity: 1 Lychee - Salathiel
Tree has an open dome shape with excellent quality fruit. Well suited to subtropical conditions. Beautiful coloured fruit with very small seed. Needs protection from wind when young.
