I'm just wondering whats wrong with my plant. It is infected by some sort of fungus/scale. As you can see from the images above I have brushed it with a dishwashing sponge as much as I can to clean off the brown crusty layer. However I'm not sure what it is or how to prevent future/further infestation. It also is on the leaves and seems to be severely affecting the health of the plant.
Please Advise
Cheers,
Jeremy

Hi Jeremy, this is scale insect. You can use eco oil on it. Spray regularly as directed until you have them under control. A nail brush and soapy water will clean them off once they are dead.
