Hi all, i am attempting to espalier a dwarf mulberry. Can i prune as i would an apple without harming it? I.e. summer pruning etc. Controlling wayward growth? Do i prune to the 1st or 2nd bud or are they different? Thanks.. ben

Hi Kmann,
We have done a lot of experimenting with Espalier and mulberry trees and had a lot of success.
In relation to where to prune this depends on where you have placed your wire.
