Would anyone have a non-chemical or less drastic way of treating erinose mites in lychees? I have a mild infestation on a young tree - have just cut of all the distorted new growth, so I guess there goes all the flowers for this season. Would appreciate a less drastic solution than systemic insecticides. Thanx.

You can use 3 per cent sulphur spray (add wetting agent). If the plant is small ,upturn and dip in solution . Use left over spray to acidify soil for ,say, blueberries.
