Can anyone identify the problem with the leaves of this guava? I believe it is a thai guava.

My Thai guava gets that reddish mottled deformed leaf thing going on sometimes.It only happens on some tips when it is not in a growing phase.It seems to grow through it.I assumed it was a nutrition problem that I couldn't figure out.
