Leaves of Kaffir lime falling

Hi,

I have a kaffir lime tree in a large pot. Recently it has put on lots of new leaves but I also notice that lots of old leaves are falling. The fallen leaves are a bit yellow. Is this normal shedding for kaffir lime?

Thanks!

that's normal, the old must go to make room for the new ones.

My tree is getting new growth but not dropping old leaves, it might be hungry for a bit of fertiliser.
