lychee starts with ...
Hi I have bought 5 lychee trees, two this year and 3 last year. I am keeping them in pots until autumn.
They are all flowering but leaves have brown tips and doesn't seem to be growing leaves, just flowers. Can you tell me what is wrong?
I am in Sydney

Hey lychee, leaves will come in time. As for the burnt tips - either lack of water on a hot day or most likely over fertilised. Only feed lychees a little bit of compost during the growing season.

yeah, I get more flowers than leaf-shoots on my Lychee plant each Springtime.
I was told mixing a little bit of Blood-n-Bone will encourage more leafy growth during the growing season.
