Edward3 says... It could be possums, bats or bush rats. Since rats and bats can bite through soft netting, I would wrap the banana bunch in bird wire netting to protect it. We haven't had this problem yet but we make sure to cut down the bunch as soon as we see the first banana starting to turn yellow.
