Wayne starts with ...
Are there any tricks, I have seeds left from early in the year but had no luck in the cool weather. I read somewhere that the soil needs to be quiet warm before they will germinate. Now that that is happening perhaps I try again.

Pour some very hot (not boiling) water over the seed and let them soak overnight, you should see the seed swell to about double the size. Then plant them out in good quality seed raising mix, mine are all about 4" tall after about 2 weeks.
