Thompson seedless

Eddie starts with ...
Hi just need an answer as in the pic a branch on my thompson seedless grape broke off (my fault) as i was cutting it up i noticed the different shoots looks like the root system it was no where near the ground and it was hanging on a trellis any ideas why it has produce roots?

Hi Eddie,
I'd say it's been way too wet. With all the moisture, the stem thought it was in the ground, hence the roots forming.

Hi Eddie,
I would try to keep the vine a bit dryer, if possible, that should make those roots disappear.

You could even cut them off to speed things up. Cover the fresh cuts with a product called 'Tree Stac'.
