Yellow leaves on Climbing Beans (forum)

I think I planted my climbing beans too close together and the bottom leaves have started to yellow. The tops are fine where they have begun to flower. I'm in Brisbane and I don't recall any frost.
My questions are;
1/ Should I trim off the yellow leaves?
2/ Put extra liquid fertiliser in to keep it greened up and producing?
3/ Could it be something I have not mentioned?

Ummm - On a honest note I decided to trim off the yellow leaves late this afternoon - I thought, why should the bean plant supply nutrient to this non productive area.
Anyway, I did a google search and these beans replicate my concerns. Still keen to hear any info.

don't worry that's normal, as that is where the plants is drawing it's feeding from the water in the bottom leaves.
