Jackwood
Cryptocarya Glaucescens
An evergreen spreading tree logged for their light coloured, general purpose timber, with a dense, dark crown of scented, leathery, mid green foliage which is blue green beneath. Clusters of insignificant flowers followed by black, rounded fruit which are a food source for fruit pigeons. Tolerates poor soils and cool conditions. Water regularly during dry periods.
