Dwarf Mulberry - Black

$19.75 ($19.75-$99.00 choose a size)

This mulberry has a very low chill factor making it ideal for our subtropical climate. Pruning after fruiting allows it to be kept under 3mtrs, and also encourages multiply cropping throughout the summer. It is best to pick the fruit when ripe, as it doesn't ripen further off the tree. A benefit of a mulberry tree is that the fruit ripens over an extended period of time unlike other fruit that often ripens all at once. The fruits of the black mulberry, considered the tastiest and most versatile of the mulberries are large and juicy with a good balance of sweetness and tartness. The fruit of the dwarf black mulberry is the same as that on the large black mulberry that we all know and love. The fruit is large, resembling a blackberry, sweet and luscious. When not devoured fresh it is ideal to use in jams, wines and mulberry pies. (Dwarf Mulberry Tree Video )This variety performs excellent in the Subtropics. There has been feedback that this variety doesn't perform as well in Temperate Climates.

Eco Neem (100ml)

$31.00

Eco Neem is a broad spectrum, botanically based insecticide made from a neem tree extract. Eco-neem is very different to other neem oil based sprays because it is a pure extract stabilised in a vegetable oil based carrier making it very effective at low rates. Eco-neem controls sucking pests and chewing pests like caterpillars and grasshoppers and exhibits systemic qualities when drenched into the soil to control soil borne insects and borers. Eco-neem is safe to beneficial insects replacing the toxic residual sprays that are harmful to bees, lady beetles and other good bugs in your garden. BFA registered for organic gardens. Eco-neem is approved for use on ornamental plants only. It currently does not have approval for use on edible plants.

Eco Oil

$19.90

eco oil is an Organically Certified, NRA Registered Miticide/ Insecticide for the control of Two Spotted Mites and Green Peach Aphid in various food and ornamental crops. The advantage eco oil has over current Miticides is that it has no withholding periods, no re-entry restrictions and maximum user safety. This means minimal spray protection gear, while maintaining maximum operator safety. eco oil is perfect for use in and around public traffic areas and where produce handling and crop harvesting is labour intensive and continuous. It also has a physical mode of action meaning that insect pests like mites have a low level resistance potential to eco oil. This allows growers to apply eco oil on a more regular basis than the chemically active insecticides, without worrying about the complexities of insect resistance management strategies
