Mango - Kwan

$54.00

Similar to the Nam doc mai, but twice the size. It has elongated fruit of a consistent light yellow and good mango flavour. This variety has good disease tolerance of Anthracnose and is generally a heavy cropper. Performs very well in south eastern Qld and the northern coast of NSW. As with all mangoes, flowering needs to coincide with a good period free of rain as the flowers will not set unless humidity is low.

Blueberry - Biloxi

$19.75 ($19.75-$49.00 choose a size)

A great choice for hotter climates with very few chill hours. It is often the first variety to hit the markets ripening a few weeks before other early blueberry varieties. The fruit is firm and the size is medium. Even though it fruits early it can often produce a second harvest later in the season although it's first time to fruit yields the best harvest. Best to mix with other varieties so that when this one is not fruiting another variety is.

The edible figs often appear in summer but can produce at anytime of the year and have a pleasantly fresh tart taste with numerous firm seeds. Long lived tree to 15m diameter in the open or 40m tall in a forest. Can also be grown as a Bonsai specimen.
