Mango - Kwan

$69.00

Similar to the Nam doc mai, but twice the size. It has elongated fruit of a consistent light yellow and good mango flavour. This variety has good disease tolerance of Anthracnose and is generally a heavy cropper. Performs very well in south eastern Qld and the northern coast of NSW. As with all mangoes, flowering needs to coincide with a good period free of rain as the flowers will not set unless humidity is low.

Blueberry - Powderblue

$19.90 ($18.75-$49.00 choose a size)

Noted because the fruit has a powdery blush and is medium in size. It is one of the toughest blueberry varieties with a harvest later in the season. A bigger harvest can be achieved by mixing with other rabbiteyes such as the tifblue or others will suit. A great selection for QLD and northern NSW as they don't need many chill hours for the fruit to set. Often the white flowers have a flush of pink. Grows well in pots and has thick enough foliage to be used as a hedge in summer but lets the light through in winter.

Blueberry - Misty

$19.90 ($18.75-$79.00 choose a size)

One of the most attractive Blueberries with bluish green leaves which contrast perfectly with striking pink and white spring flowers. You can get an even bigger harvest when planted with other varieties. Because of low chill hours it is a favorite in the subtropics. The Misty is one of the first varieties to fruit and the size is medium to large. Their flavour is sweet and spicy and perform brilliantly in pots.

Blueberry - Biloxi

$19.90 ($18.75-$49.00 choose a size)

A great choice for hotter climates with very few chill hours. It is often the first variety to hit the markets ripening a few weeks before other early blueberry varieties. The fruit is firm and the size is medium. Even though it fruits early it can often produce a second harvest later in the season although it's first time to fruit yields the best harvest. Best to mix with other varieties so that when this one is not fruiting another variety is.

Fig - Moreton Bay

$4.95 ($4.95-$17.75 choose a size)

This Fig can take two forms, as a magnificent tall spreading tree or as a strangling vine depending on where the seed lands. When the roots finally reach the ground they will start to encircle their host tree until they eventually strangle it and takes it place in the forest. The orange coloured fig turns a dark purple when ripe. The edible figs appear around February until May. 40m. Makes a great Bonsai
