Loquat - Nagasakiwase

The best Japanese variety so far, it has deep orange flesh, high flesh/seed ratio and very sweet flavour. Earliest variety to ripen. Thinning fruit will enhance fruit size. The Nagasakiwase often has 2 crops a year in the subtropics. The first crop in April / May then again in August. We have found by cincturing in summer, the August crop has a much larger crop and better fruit size.
Cherry - Royal Crimson PBR

Very sweet, low chill, self-pollinating Cherry with firm textured flesh and deep, dark red colour when ripe. This PBR cultivar is well suited to warm temperate and cooler sub-tropical areas. The Royal Crimson is helpful to pollinate other low chill cherries like Minnie Royal and Royal Lee. Together, all three will work to produce good crops of cherries in your low chill orchard. Wax Jambu - White

A popular selection in Asia, the sweetest selection. Very similar to the Red Wax Jambu however has white waxy skin and is sweeter, but it is much more cold sensitive. They generally don't have seeds but may on rare occasions, depending on pollination.
Avocado - Hass (A)

Most popular variety due to both its superior taste and excellent keeping qualities. Medium sized, pear-shaped fruit has an excellent creamy, flesh. The leathery rough dark-purple skin turns to black when ripe. H Aug-Dec. Hass is an A type variety and for good fruit set a B type variety is needed for cross pollination. Suggested varieties to grow alongside a Hass are Shepard, Sharwill, Fuerte, Bacon (if you're in a cooler climate)and Linda. Happy fresh avocado smashing.
