An excellent specimen tree ideally suited to small gardens. Offers spring flowers, coloured foliage in autumn and zig-zagged branching that is a feature in winter. Also performs well in large containers. Buds are reddish in colour and open to single white flowers, often with a pinkish tinge. Flowers are generally produced in pairs. For best performance prefers well drained and moderately fertile soils and full sun positions. Is adaptable to low levels of drought once established. A small flowering cherry with an almost bonsai like habit.

Perhaps the most widely eaten grape and one of the older varieties of seedless grapes. Oblong shaped grapes, with a light green skin, very sweet and juicy with a high sugar content, with half as glucose, and half as fructose. Prefers hot dry climate free of humidity.

Crimson seedless grapes have elongated pinkish-red fruits with crisp firm skin and juicy pulp. The flavour is sweetly-tart and almost spicy. Delicious eaten fresh as a healthy snack or in fruit salads and cheese platters. They are best suited to climates with hot, dry summers, they are not well suited to humid coastal climates.
