Summer and autumn need to be dry to prevent fungal problems. Pistachios are dioecious meaning male and females flowers are produced on separate trees, one of each will be required for fruit set. Spreading habit, wider than it is tall. Pistachios tend toward biennial cropping, meaning they alternately bear lots of nuts one year, then very little the following year

Best suited to areas with cold winters and hot dry summers, requiring 1000 hours below 7.5 degrees in the winter. Well suited to hot inland areas of southern Australia. Fruits ripen earlier than the Kerman selection, extending harvests. Summer and autumn need to be dry to prevent fungal problems. Pistachios are dioecious meaning male and females flowers are produced on separate trees, one of each will be required for fruit set. Spreading habit, wider than it is tall. Sirora was developed in Australia by CSIRO and has shown to be a more even bearer than other varieties which tend toward biennial cropping, meaning they alternately bear lots of nuts one year, then very little the following year
Dwarf Orange - Cara Cara
$52.95 ($52.95-$99.00 choose a size)
This variety was discovered in Venezuela in 1976. It is smaller than many other navel selections but has pink flesh similar to Star Ruby grapefruit. In South Africa it matures slightly earlier than Washington navel. Although Cara Cara has yet to be evaluated fully under Australian conditions there is considerable interest in it locally. The dwarf rootstock, flying dragon modifies the top growth making this a dwarf plant that is ideal to use planted out or as a pot specimen.
