Angel Peaches are shaped like donuts and there is something very heavenly about the flavour. They are a very sweet yellow fleshed variety, which is more soft and juicy in texture compared to standard peaches. Angel's will crop in warm subtropical climates. Requires about 150 hours chill. This makes them very low chill and they will often flower quite early in late winter Suitable from Rockhampton south to the subtropics and coastal NSW. Peaches can be protected from birds and insects with exclusion netting. This variety has Plant Breeder Rights over it.

Grown for thousands of years in China for both culinary and medicinal purposes and the source of the preferred cinnamon spice in North America, the flavour is stronger and is suitable for both sweet and savoury dishes. Trees are coppiced every 2-3 years and the inner bark is harvested and rolled into quills. The flower buds are also used as a sweet flavouring. Cassia cinnamon is distinguished from true Cinnamon by the thickness of the harvested quills and by the scent of the leaves. The Lemon Myrtle occurs naturally throughout coastal Qld rainforests. It is a spectacular ornamental tree due to both its appearance and the superb fragrance of its flowers and leaves. The leaves and flowers are used in sweet and savoury dishes or as a refreshing tea. However as boiling or baking often reduces the flavour. The leaves are best added to the recipe at the end of the cooking process and either left to steam with the lid on or made into a sauce or dressing. It is usually the older and fully hardened-off leaves that are harvested for use. Enthusiasts describe the distilled oil from this tree as 'more lemony than lemon' and its used extensively to scent confectionery, perfumes, aromatherapy oil and food flavourings.
