I became a huge fan of the Acer following an overseas trip this year when I saw them with their display of burnt orange and red leaves, and thought they were amazingly beautiful. I believed I could grow several up here in the tropics if I provide very large pots and the soil that they need, as well as a suitable shade/ sun ratio.
