Upright vigorous avocado producing pear shaped fruit of medium quality. It is regarded as the most cold hardy variety, sometimes surviving down to -5degC. It does require care to bring this subtropical tree through winter. Worth trying in urban Victoria or South Australia. H March - May

The flesh is a buttery yellow creamy flesh with a delicious flavour. The skin is dark with bright green bumps and is rough textured. It grows best in coastal areas, in inland regions the skin turns russet brown.

Dwarf Avocado - Shepard (B)

A small to medium pear-shaped fruit with thick, green skin that peels easily. The fruit has an excellent flavour, medium oil content and does not turn brown when cut. H Feb/March High yielding. It displays good resistance to frost and anthracnose. While not truly dwarf, this tree can be described as reliably smaller than others due to the spreading habit and a size of roughly 4x4 m which make it a more manageable companion in small yards.

This lemon is probably the most widely grown lemon in the world It is a true sour lemon with a high juice and acid content. Can have some fruit most of the year. The fruit is thin-skinned and virtually seedless. An almost thornless variety makes harvesting, pruning and growing the Eureka an easy choice. It is a highly productive variety of large flavourful Lemons. The main crop will be harvested during Winter. Dwarf Orange - Cara Cara

This variety was discovered in Venezuela in 1976. It is smaller than many other navel selections but has pink flesh similar to Star Ruby grapefruit. In South Africa it matures slightly earlier than Washington navel. Although Cara Cara has yet to be evaluated fully under Australian conditions there is considerable interest in it locally. The dwarf rootstock, flying dragon modifies the top growth making this a dwarf plant that is ideal to use planted out or as a pot specimen.
