Mango - Keow Savoey

$69.00

Considered the best of the green eating varieties in Thailand where it is prized for its crunchy flesh texture and nutty sweet flavour. It is mainly used as a green salad vegetable. When ripe it turns a soft green/yellow. Semi-translucent pulp with overripe flavours. Oblong dark green fruit weighing between 170 and 390 grams with a polyembryonic seed

Plum - Gulf Blaze

$49.00

A Japanese-style plum with excellent orange flesh, burgundy skin and very sweet flavour. A low chill selection that is well suited to subtropical climates. Pollinate with a Dwarf Gulf Gold or a Gulf Ruby for a bumper crop. Prolific white spring bloom.

Dwarf Mulberry - Red Shahtoot

$99.00 ($29.00-$99.00 choose a size)

Much more compact in growth habit than the King White Shahtoot. These delicious sweet fruits can reach 10cm in length. Ideal for back yards and we consider it a must have fruit tree for the back yard. The best way to eat mulberries is fresh from the tree. If some should make it to the kitchen bench they make excellent pies, jams, wines and sauces. Multiple crops are possible by pruning directly after your first crop. Suitable for most regions of Australia, although it can be susceptible to damage from late frosts. The red shahtoot is ideal for growing in pots and containers due to it small growing habit and it is ideal for school gardens as it does not produce fruits that stain and the sweet fruits are very appealing to children. This variety is best suited to warm subtropical climates and does not perform well in temperate climate where it tends to drop their fruit.

Passionfruit - Sweet Granadilla

$27.00 ($19.75-$27.00 choose a size)

Regarded as the best tasting passionfruit in the world. The hard-shelled orange-yellow fruit is of excellent quality and has a white aromatic pulp. Production begins in 2 to 3 years. The vine is easily recognised by its heart shaped leaves. Prefers sheltered conditions. Frost tender when young.

Kiwiberry - Red Female

$42.95 ($29.00-$42.95 choose a size)

The name Hardy Kiwifruit comes from the fact that this species can tolerate very low winter temperatures and at the same time doesn't require a lot of winter chill, so can be grown over a wide climatic range. Pollinates with a regular male kiwi fruit. Hardy kiwifruits are smaller than normal Kiwifruit, an inch or so long. Fruits are borne in clusters and have smooth, edible skins so can be eaten just like grapes. The hardy kiwifruit has the same emerald-green interior and similar flavor to the grocery store kiwifruit, except that hardy kiwifruits are sweeter.

Jade Vine

$34.95 ($34.95-$39.00 choose a size)

Prized for its stunning claw shaped turquoise flowers. These can be eaten as a vegetable. This is a vine for subtropical, tropical gardens or a warm indoors position. It does not tolerate frost. It prefers a moist, free draining soil and can grow 2-5m.

Passionfruit - Sweet Lilikoi

This plant has a very attractive flower and large sweet fruit. The fruit is very hard to germinate even with manual pollination but worth it.

Feb 2014; well, I can't say I'd recommend growing this passionfruit. The fruit are large and a nice outside colour but the pulp is a greyish mass and, while terribly sweet, seemed to have a sickly taste. Maybe just my palate but I shan't be growing thi...

CARLINGFORD, NSW, Australia

Grows vigorously and has many flowers each year, but has not set a single fruit for over 5 years in spite of attempts at manual pollination and cross pollination with granadilla x lilikoi variety. Therefore have removed the plant.
