A highly ornamental tree, native to Nth Qld Rainforests. Beautiful yellow flowers with prominent anthers occuring in winter. Its glossy green leaves makes it an ideal landscape specimen as far south as Sydney.

Bayberry - Chinese Red Seedling

Fruit is typically a deep, brilliant red, but may vary from white to purple. Flesh colour is similar to outer colour, or somewhat lighter. Flesh is sweet and tart with berry flavours. Single seeded. Dwarf Persimmon - Ichikikijiro (NA)

Large, flat fruit of excellent quality, non-astringent and seedless when grown on its own. Being a dwarf variety it is well suited to backyards but is also a good commercial variety. Will fruit as early as March in the subtropics. Ichikikijiro generally produce only one flush of growth in the spring so don't be alarmed if your tree is not growing in summer, this habit contributes to their small stature.

Golden penda

I grew this tree on the central coast of NSW.It faced east-north east in a sheltered spot in my rear garden. Foliage and flowers gorgeous. I bought the tiny tree in Brisbane. What an excellent beautiful tree - not huge - a show stopper.
