Sandalwood - Indian

$99.00 ($49.00-$99.00 choose a size)

Medium-sized hemiparasitic trees that attach themselves to the root system of nearby plants from which they extract water and minerals. Pinto Peanut and Acacia are suitable hosts as they are a legume and hence a natural nitrogen source. Keep Acacias pruned so they dont over take growth of Sandalwood. Used in the production of sandalwood oil, trees are harvested from 8 years and the entire tree is used for oil production including the roots and stump. The production of sandalwood in India and Nepal is strictly controlled by the government who owns all the trees, however illegal harvesting and smuggling is a problem due to the high value of sandalwood oil.

Rollinia - Picone

$99.00 ($99.00-$99.00 choose a size)

Selection from Northern NSW, consistent cropper in frost free subtropical locations, large juicy fruit. Rollinia is a relative of the cherimoya this plant has its origins in tropical America. The fruit about 100mm in diameter has a creamy juicy and delicious flesh, according to some tasting like lemon meringue pie. Sourced from Picone Exotic OrchardsThe foliage is delicate on young trees, and our potted plants are known for their older leaves to turn yellow and drop during transport to conserve energy. This is not a problem long term. With care and acclimatisation they will bounce back

Blueberry - Kisses (PBR)

$59.00 ($34.95-$99.00 choose a size)

Characterized by it enormous fruit size and naturally dwarfing habit, this self pollinating Blueberry is perfect for planting with the Blueberry Burst to extend the fruiting season. Low chill variety flowering and fruiting over a 4 to 6 month period with exceptionally high yield. Trialled successfully in both hot and cold climates in Australia. Protected by Plant Breeders Right (PBR)Developed by Plantnet.

Passionfruit - Sweet Granadilla

$27.00 ($19.75-$27.00 choose a size)

Regarded as the best tasting passionfruit in the world. The hard-shelled orange-yellow fruit is of excellent quality and has a white aromatic pulp. Production begins in 2 to 3 years. The vine is easily recognised by its heart shaped leaves. Prefers sheltered conditions. Frost tender when young.

Papaya - Southern Red

$19.75 ($4.90-$19.75 choose a size)

Bisexual orange - red fleshed Papaya with very sweet juicy flesh. Heavy cropper of elongated fruit. Seedlings have been selected from high quality self pollinated selection, so expect at least 80% bisexual plants. Performs best in a sheltered warm location.

Dwarf Mulberry - Red Shahtoot

$99.00 ($19.75-$99.00 choose a size)

Much more compact in growth habit than the King White Shahtoot. These delicious sweet fruits can reach 10cm in length. Ideal for back yards and we consider it a must have fruit tree for the back yard. The best way to eat mulberries is fresh from the tree. If some should make it to the kitchen bench they make excellent pies, jams, wines and sauces. Multiple crops are possible by pruning directly after your first crop. Suitable for most regions of Australia, although it can be susceptible to damage from late frosts. The red shahtoot is ideal for growing in pots and containers due to it small growing habit and it is ideal for school gardens as it does not produce fruits that stain and the sweet fruits are very appealing to children. This variety is best suited to warm subtropical climates and does not perform well in temperate climate where it tends to drop their fruit.
