do you mail seeds for Abiu. I saw your video with the large size fruit . what is the variety and will it grow true to type from seed? I've read they vary a great deal. Thanks. Rusty in south Florida.

Hey rusty they are available in Florida in a few nurseries but are not common. There are good varieties called gray, marissa and Z2.They grow pretty true from seeds and those types can be almost 2lbs at times. Some of the types of abiu here are quite varied in shape and flavour.

I'm looking to buy some abiu seeds too. My twig died so hope to try with seeds.
Also looking for blue pea (clitoria ternatea) seeds if you can help. Thank you.

Kim, you can get the blue pea here. I had no luck with them a few years ago, but you might do better.

I've seen a few abiu for sale at TFW recently, I'll let you know if I see/buy any. But are there mailing restrictions to WA? Can the seed be sent to WA in moist Coir?

The good ones are spherical, over 500g,low latex, few seeds, have caramel and sometimes vanilla overtones and are low bruising. They are named varieties z4,z2,E4, inca gold and gray. There are brumbies around so avoid those.

Abiu is allowed along with the blue pea seeds. I would greatly appreciate seeds if you do get your hands on some fruits Rob. I think requirements are same as other states. Damp paper towel should be ok.
Thanks for the link Julie. I purchased some seeds off ebay - would you like some to try again? More than happy to send a few your way if you want them?.
Thanks for the heads up John. Might have to make another purchase when they become available. :)

Willughbeia sarawakensis
The smaller green one has been set back a tad because I'd find it on the floor in the morning on more than one occasion. Shouldn't be a problem anymore, I've taken care of the problem.
