Try direct planting some straight into the ground if you can. They grow quicker that way. I have heaps of small seedlings in pots and quite a few that have popped up out of the compost this year.

Mine are also taking their time despite getting the royal treatment, but it's only been about a month so I guess I have to be a bit more patient. The emails sent Trang :)

Be patient. They can take up to 8 months to shoot.

Yeah, Ones from last season started shooting at about 4 months, the stragglers are only coming up now, so that is closer to 12 months. The latest ones are ones i've tried in the hardest spots - full sun, natural rainfall only, crap dirt etc. Still get 50% germination so far. tough buggers.

Lol..that's so true John Mc! Can't tell u how many times I have dumped planted seedling mix (in pots) in the open herb garden - and the seeds have ended up germinating after months of doing nothing!?
I have decided my herb garden is the best spot for me to germinate seeds now...it gets watered every cupla days and is in full sun...I have got all sorts of plants up and running in there now :D
