apple tree leaves turning white (forum)

rainy starts with ...
some of my apple trees leaves are turning white does anyone know why this would happen please

its an old tree and its happening all over it not sure what is wrong it is loaded with apples and all good

Watch out for cottony cushion scale, they can form large infestations and make the tree appear white in places. Soapy water sprayed on might help if that's the problem or white oil.
