Does anyone know of an apricot variety which is resistant to viral gumosis.
I would also like to know of the best variety for low chill conditions.
- does Melbourne count as low chill these days??

No resiatnt varities that I am aware of.
Melbourne gotta still be pretty high on the chill stakes.
I like Newcastle early, but glengarry frequently gets a mention as an improved early low chill apricot.

Newcastle early is the best tasting apricot we have but it's also the worst effected but brown root / leaking sap gummy problems etc. Inside Melbourne is a good 3 degrees C warmer constantly than the natural environment around it these days so it must have a lot less chill that it used to

Thanks v much Jimmy and Jason - gummosis is a real pest - both my apricot trees (Moorpark Early and Divinity) are dying slowly - I'm reluctant to start again unless I can find one which is at least partially resistant to gummosis.
