I purchased a Secondo from Daleys early last year. It is planted in my north facing front yard and during spring and summer I gave it a few doses of Seasol. It dropped it's 2 large leaves it came with, then put out a whole heap of smaller versions of the leaves on lots of smaller branches and that's where it stopped. It is no higher and those new leaves have all started turning yellow on their tips.
Have I over loved it? Is this normal? I was expecting more height with the growth spurt during summer.

They can be subject to sunburn when young, some folk put temporary shelter up for the first couple of years. In cooler climates the trees can lose a few leaves in late winter but it should pick up in spring. This winter has been somewhat colder than usual. Resume feeding when you see new growth around Sept/Oct.
