HI there, I am trying to work out which varieties of avocado to grow together to ensure good pollination and also extend fruiting period throughout the year.
I have researched the following, but have not found out when flowering starts for each variety listed, OR how long the fruit takes from flowering to fruiting.
Can anyone assist? Thanks, Kate

Pinkerton is A type, not B.
My Wurtz is just finishing flowering now although it does not look like it has set any fruit on its own at this stage even though my neighbours seedling tree was flowering at the same time and is only about 5m away.
Actually all the avo's in our street start flowering at the same time but I don't know what type they all are, only mine. Maybe flowering is the same time for all types but the fruit ripens at different stages?

Each variety can be different but usually min 7 months to 12 months before the fruit is ready to pick.

Thanks Waterfall. I think you are right in that they all flower about the same time but take different times to fruiting. Ta

I got lamb hass, hass, wurtz, bacon, Sheppard. They are all more or less flowering at the same time and is finishing flowering now. I also want to extend avo season like you, but none of my avos trees have managed to hold on to any fruit yet.
