My dad has a dwarf banana tree and it now has four offshoots in its pot. Do we need to repot it or will it be ok growing with these offshoots? We’ve just got this tree healthy again and don’t want to lose it now. Thanks for the help. Cheers, Anya

Hey Anya, no need to worry about the suckers. They are just how bananas grow. They produce a main stem, and once the plant is happy with that then it starts to sucker. As the plant gets older, the main stem fruits, dies (or gets chopped) and then the suckers fruit and the cycle goes on.
If you want, you can remove a couple of the suckers and plant them in their own pots (basically taking cuttings).
