Does anyone know who sells black raspberries? Are they in Australia at all? They are said to be very healthy, even more than the others!

loewenzahn take a look at ebay. I just ordered both black and blue raspberry seeds.

No, they are suckers.

I have tried seeds from several kinds of rubus (from herbnerds?) and none germinated.

I do have some fresher seed i might try and germinate though.

Diggers sell black rasberries search for diggers nursery online. The thornless Logan berry as sold by Daleys has a lot of raspberry genes and I have heard is heavy bearer it is also a purplish colour ,what about thornless black berries if you want the dark coular they are super tough..

Diggers sell purple raspberry which is a cross between red and black. I have black raspberry seed stratifying currently so hopefully will have some seedlings later in the year.

Thats great Joel. I would be most grateful if you would reserve a plant for me. I'm happy to buy it from you and would certainly cover any costs associated with sending it to the ACT. All the best, Linda
