Can Prune D'Argen pollinate my President Plum? (forum)

Hi Everyone,
I purchased a President plum tree and didn't know that it needed to be pollinated by another European plum so I bought a Prune D'Argen and planted it close by. The president plum is now flowering but the Prune D'Argen hasn't yet, I was told both plants flower late season but unsure if they pollinate each other. My neighbour has a cherry plum, does anyone know when the cherry plum flowers? Feeling sad that I didn't do any research before purchasing my fruit trees :(

You are lucky, as D'Agen does pollinate President and also vice-versa as well! I don't know about the Cherry plum, but it shouldn't matter now anyway. Good luck with your plums, and be more careful when buying fruit trees!
