I've got Three-lined Potato Beetle larvae eating Cape Gooseberry. Does anyone know an effective (non-pesticide) solution to this problem?

See the current Organic Gardener magazine, they talk about organic controls for them in the new magazine.

Someone said to plant radishes in the soil so I am going to try that.
I have them attacking my Brugmansias here and was told the black "poops" are the babies covering themselves to avoid detection so remove those ugly black poops.
EWE!!!

We have beetles attaching our gooseberry plants. They are lemon and black stripey bugs. Are these the "three lined potato bugs"?
