Do Carambolas - star fruit - like growing together as a pair? Or would two separate sunny spots in the garden be best? Thanks for any advice. Andy

It makes little difference to their productivity. The weather/climate rather than anti-social behaviour from the carambolas might put the brakes on.

Carambola trees with a short style flower will usually need a long style flower type nearby for pollenation. The long style ones will pollenate themselves. That is according to some literature. Does anyone else have more advise about it.
