Chilli with darkening spots (forum)

Hi All
This is my first (successful) time growing chillies, and I am worried about the darkening spots forming on the fruit, and also around the stems.
Can someone confirm if this is normal?
It has been non-stop raining here for 3 weeks, so I am also seeing a slight yellowing of the leaves on the larger tree, and lots of yellowing on the smaller trees, which I have read is a symptom of overwatering (not much I can do about that), so I wasn't sure if the black spots are fungi? Bacteria? Normal?
Your opinions and expertise is appreciated.
Thanks.

They look healthy enough to me. Mine are drenched at the moment with all the rain around the Sunshine Coast. It doesn't seem to be worrying them too much.

Kelvin your chilli is normal. They do turn black naturally first as they ripen.
