I just read about this interesting plant, also known as mouse melon, Mexican miniature watermelon or Mexican sour gherkin.
Tastes like cucumber, size of a grape and is easy to grow.
Anyone have this?

Cucumber Mexican Sour Gherkin
Melothria scabra syn. pendula
Is that the one your after ?
Got some from diggers last year, not bad.
Size of a child's small finger.
When changes fron dark green to a paler green tastes like a small cucumber, if left longer starts to get a sour-ish after taste.
I still have a packet of seeds if you want it.

I grew this for the first time this year. VERY slow to get going and couldn't cope with the heat but I have one plant (in a bit of shade) that is going great guns. Fruiting well and everybody likes them. I am going to plant a lot next year and pickle them.

Diggers no longer sells cucamelon seeds. Does anyone know of another source?
Edit: Found them at kodaphytorum. A lot on eBay but from overseas not sure they will be allowed in.
