Check on ebay periodically. I picked some up from a seller in Cairns a little while back. Seems to be sold later in the summer.

I have sprouted a few and passed them on. Cupuassu come in different varieties with different flower colours. Theobroma sp. San Lorenzo is similar and better.

I have none as I gave them away. They are just too hard to get and have low germination rates.None are fruiting in Oz as far as I know.Lower hanging fruit might be more attractive.

I'm not so sure and I have offloaded them to Peter and I don't think Mr Carle has them fruiting but I could be wrong. The picture there is of a T.bicolor by the way not capuassu.

Very short viability period and demanding tropical requirements would make this almost impossible for you to grow Bones . Ideally a whole fruit shipped express might work but I doubt if that would be allowed into WA .

The mucous seed coat when lightly dried on the seed extends viability period. In the right packing material they last a few months.

Anyone have Theobroma Grandiflorum seeds or trees for sale. I think they would grow well in central Florida.

A grower in Hawaii often has them and sells on ebay .. you would do better trying growers in habitat or in Central America than way over here in Australia
