Custard Apple dying (forum)

Is there anything I can do to save this custard apple? It's planted in heavy clay on the Mid North Coast NSW. I know they don't like clay but I've had a tree growing and fruiting beautifully for a number of years which is only a few metres away, so i thought it would be OK.

Hi. Looking at your photo, I don't see why you think it is dying. They do shed leaves at the end of winter, so just wait and the new leaves should sprout in the next few weeks.
