Daley's trees in Perth (forum)

Kath starts with ...
Today I found a terrific nursery called Palms Galore-108 Wattleup Road Wattleup which has a fantastic range of sun-hardy well established fruit trees (amongst loads of other stuff). They have some plants they bought from Daleys last year & have grown on-longan,jaboticaba,soursop,madrano,kwai mauk & wampee. All really healthy & big. The people who run it-David & Terri are really friendly & it's open 7 days a week. Their number is 94101453 or email
info@palmsgalore.com.au
They are waiting on an order from Daleys & may be
interested in taking orders if enough people are keen. Well worth a visit.

It's south of the river-only a couple of minutes off the freeway. They have $5 pawpaws on sale at the moment. Very good nursery.

Kath, I notice Daleys have Cherry of the Rio Grand in production, which you were asking about a while ago. So maybe this nursery can get it in for you.

Wattleup is in the Hope Valley/Henderson/Naval Base area--go off the Rowley Rd exit on the freeway-that road turns into the road the nursery's on -guess 20 or 30 kms south??

Ooh - that's good - I go past there almost every day to/from work - I didn't realise they sold Daleys' fruit trees!

If you're heading south down the freeway, I think you're slightly better taking Russell Rd off the freeway, then turning left onto Pearce Rd (immediately after the fenced nature reserve) and right onto Wattleup Rd when you hit the end of Pearce (it's a T-junction).

If you take the Rowley Rd exit (west) off the freeway, it does a 90 degree bend to the right, and then you need to take the first left to get onto Wattleup Road.

Cool... :-)
