Hello I have a Davidson Plum tree which is about 5 mtrs tall , 4 mtrs from the ground is just trunk and the 5 th mtrs being the branches.
If I cut the trunk at a height of 2 mtrs from the ground will branches regrow?

Should shoot back from the old horizontal branch nodes along the trunk just fine. I'd allow maybe three of the best shoots to regrow and remove the rest.
