We are restoring an old orchard in the Capertee Valley. We did a very heavy prune last year and are now tidying up the new growth. I have just come across this which seems to be created by tiny mites. Any suggestions on what it is and treatment Thanks

Hi WayneW,
There are many treatments available. The simple and effective way is to use pressure water gun to blastoff all mites or to use rubbing alcohol to spay over the infected stems which will kill mites/insects in few seconds (need to do it after 5pm. Cheers.
