Hi All,
I need your advice as I am looking for a grapevine that has large furry leaves, grapes is not required. (Non-Furry Leaves is fine too but furry is preferred).

We call it Wara'Anab, it's easier to pick & tastes better, cooks better than the smooth leaf, you need to pull at the smooth leaf more to get it off, when you need a few kilos of green leaves, it matters.

Interesting Farouk. Your picture didn't come through in the post, but you can see it in the forum listing (until someone else posts another).
What do you wrap with them?

I'm wondering does the Wara'Anab vine also bear edible fruit, or wine grapes ? What colour are the fruit ?

Farouk,
Your description of 'furry' leaves is called 'tomentose' or 'pubescent'.
Maybe those terms will give you more leaves to look at, and hopefully recognise something you're familiar with. Then you can look for that plant.
Good luck.

These look good - have plenty of vine leaves but no furry types?
