Can you suggest a dwarf avocado for northern illawarra. Plenty of sun in summer but overshadowed by tall gum during winter.

I bought a dwarf Wurtz at the local hardware store back in sep 2010. It's been in a pot since then. The tree looks healthy and over 2 metres tall but it hasn't fruit yet!!!!
I normally use Miracle Grow as fertlizer but last year I tried Cow manure.
The tree is formed by two branches, the small one in the back has been flowering since the second year but it doesn't develop fuits, the highets branch keeps growing without flowering. I am thinking of removing the shortest branch as I think it is remnant of the tree where it was grafted and may be preventing the other from flowering.
Should I do this or give the tree a bit more time? any problem with the fertilizer? Any help more than welcome

It may just be a pollination issue, if there are not enough flowers for self pollination. The tree still looks rather small for its age, mine has just turned one year old this month.
