My question surrounds fruiting at an early age. I removed almost all the flowers but one hung on. When I saw it begin developing fruit I left it.

My question is, being such a young tree, should I remove this "load"? It's quite skinny still. If I remove the tape around the support, it leans sharply.

Seeing it is so small, I would remove the mango. But don't throw it away - you can make a very mice Vietnamese pickle. Just peel it, cut it into small pieces without the seed, then add some fish sauce and sugar and leave for a day (no need to refrigerate). then eat it with your meal.
