Dwarf mulberry - pruning (forum)

Hi everyone.
I've had a great first crop from my dwarf red mulberry.
I'm trying to decide if I should prune it now that it has finished fruiting or wait till winter?
Because all information I'm finding suggest that I should prune in winter but nothing about spring?
Thank you

HI Sirs2k,
If you prune it now you will get a second crop before winter. Cheers

Thanks David.
How much should I prune?
Or what should I prune? There are a couple of secondary trunks that have popped up. Should I leave it as a single trunk?

Hi Sirs2k,
No, you just cut back 20cm to 30cm from the tip of each branch. For the couple of second trunks I will leave it after the second crop to cut back to 1/2 length or shorter to treat it as the side branches. Cheers
