Hi, has anyone had any luck growing the Dwarf Red Shahtoot in Canberra. I am interested in getting one but there are a lot of reports that it drops all its fruits due to the Canberra cold.

Your best bet would be to try and find out if anyone else nearby is/was growing one.
Otherwise just give it a shot and be the one to find out. If it doesn't work, then you can learn how to top work a tree :)
