Wurtz is the most available Dwarf Avo although I Believe Gwen is a semi "dwarf" as well . I Would like to now if these are A+B compatable trees myself. Daleys currently stock Wurtz but Im not sure about Gwen.

Hi Martin,
Wurtz & Gwen are both type 'A' avos.
Another draft is Rincon,(type A), and another semi-dwaft is the Pinkerton. (he's an A too).
You don't really have to have both A & B types, as most avos will bear on there own. If you want more avocados, then having both A & B type avo trees is beneficial.

Thanks Bendan, The Gwen s proving almost impossible to find so I am going to espalier a wurtz and have a spot away from the main garden where I can let a fuerte do its natural thing. Later on I will put in a Gwen which at this time is starting to seem like the lost grail
