Some came up on ebay recently and I bought a couple. Anybody ever tried the fruit? Even if they aren't very nice I will probably keep the plant as an ornamental.

I picked up a nice sized plant of cv. 'Curly Sue' recently, and its got a few fruits on already, so I'm eagerly awaiting the taste test!

Cool beans Bruce, make sure you post a report. Mine is still sitting in a pot, can't figure out where to put it yet. Apparently they are a good indoor plant and will fruit in total shade.

I visited an epiphyllum collector yesterday and there were lots of fruiting varieties. Some were loaded with delicious tasting fruit. There is a place for them in areas to cool for dragon fruit or with not enough room. Also some delicious aporocactus, another fruiting idea for people who want fruiting hanging baskets in near shade.
