Couldn't really say which one I prefer, all good.
Both bit over 2m tall, that way I can Net them, fruit fly loves them.

Mr ivepeters, do you know of any Pouterias or Eugenias that are resistant to fruit-fly in Brisbane?

Unfortunately any Eugenia worth having requires netting from fruit fly.
The Pouteria I do have are still to fruit, so couldn't comment.
Would think Sydney wouldn't be afflicted as much.

Sydney is badly afflicted. Every last fruit on a guava, plum or fig will be ravaged. Even thick skinned pomeloes have been damaged.

I heard Eugenia luschnathiana does not get stung, and that is supposed to be one of the best tasting.
