Feijoa - Purple leaf tips (forum)

Nat22 starts with ...
I have 3 feijoas in pots, roughly 2 years old. They all have some purple/black spots on the tips of their leaves. This discolouration has only started in the last 3 weeks. These plants are next to my house, the leaves facing my house are uneffected. Facing northerly aspect. Northern Rivers area. Does anyone know what the cause might be? Cheers.
